Product Overview
AD8657 is a dual channel, micropower, precision, rail-to-rail input/output amplifier optimized for low power and wide operating supply voltage range applications. It operates from 2.7V to 18V with a typical quiescent supply current of 18μA. This device uses the Analog Devices, Inc., patented DigiTrim® trimming technique, which achieves low offset voltage. It has a high immunity to electromagnetic interference. The combination of low supply current, low offset voltage, very low input bias current, wide supply range, and rail-to-rail input and output makes the device ideal for current monitoring in process and motor control applications. It is used in applications such as portable operating systems, current monitors, 4mA to 20mA loop drivers, buffer/level shifting, multipole filters, remote/wireless sensors, low power transimpedance amplifiers.

- Offset voltage drift is 2μV/°C typical at (VSY = 18V, VCM = VSY/2V, TA = 25°C)
- Slew rate is 80V/ms typical at (RL = 1Mohm, CL = 10pF, AV = 1)
- Settling time to 0.1% is 15µs typical at (VIN = 1V step, RL = 100Kohm, CL = 10pF)
- Unity-gain crossover is 230KHz typical at (VIN = 10mV p-p, RL = 1Mohm, CL = 10pF, AV = 1)
- Gain bandwidth product is 230KHz typical at (VIN = 10mV p-p, RL = 1Mohm, CL = 10pF, AV = 100)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to +125°C, package style is 8-lead LFCSP
