ADP121 is a quiescent current, low dropout, linear regulator. The low 135mV dropout voltage at 150mA load improves efficiency and allows operation over a wide input voltage range. The low 30μA of quiescent current at full load make the device ideal for battery-operated portable equipment. It delivers good transient performance with minimal board area. Short-circuit protection and thermal overload protection circuits prevent damage in adverse conditions. It is widely used in application such as mobile phones, digital cameras and audio devices, portable and battery-powered equipment, post dc-to-dc regulation, post regulation etc.

• Input voltage range is 2.3V to 5.5V
• Output voltage range is 1.2V
• Output current is 150mA, logic controlled enable
• Low quiescent current is IGND = 11μA with 0μA load, IGND = 30μA with 150mA load
• Low shutdown current is <lt/>1μA
• Low dropout voltage is 90mV at 150mA load
• High PSRR is 70dB at 10kHz at VOUT = 1.2V
• Low noise is 40μV rms at VOUT = 1.2V, stable with a small 1μF ceramic output capacitor
• No noise bypass capacitor required, output voltage accuracy is ±1%
• Operating temperature is −40°C to +125°C, packaging style is 4-ball WLCSP
