Product Information
Product Overview
HMC732LC4B is a wideband MMIC voltage controlled oscillator which incorporates the resonator, negative resistance device, and varactor diode. Output power and phase noise performance are excellent over temperature due to the oscillator’s monolithic construction. The Vtune port accepts an analogue tuning voltage from 0V to +23V. This device's VCO operates from a single +5V supply, consumes only 57mA of current. This wideband VCO uniquely combines the attributes of ultra small size, low phase noise, low power consumption, and wide tuning range. It is widely used in application such as industrial/medical equipment, test & measurement equipment, military radar, EW & ECM etc.
- Wide tuning bandwidth
- Low SSB phase noise is -95dBc/Hz typ at (100KHz offset, TA = +25°C)
- No external resonator needed
- Frequency range is 6GHz to 12GHz
- Tune port leakage current is 10µA typ at (TA = +25°C, Vcc = +5V)
- Output return loss is 15dB typical at (TA = +25°C, Vcc = +5V)
- 2nd harmonic is -12dBc typ at (TA = +25°C, Vcc = +5V)
- Frequency drift rate is 0.4MHz/°C typ at (6GHz, TA = +25°C, Vcc = +5V)
- Operating temperature is -40°C to + 85°C
- Package style is 24-lead LCC
