Specyfikacja
The MAX1486CUB+ is a software selectable half/full duplex, high speed RS485/RS422 transceiver in 10 pin µMAX package. It can be configured as 14 pin full duplex transceiver via jumpers between receiver and transmitter lines or two 8 pin half duplex transceivers which require an additional inverter logic gate for software selectability. The driver slew rate is not limited allowing it to transmit up to 12Mbps. The driver output is short circuit current limited and is protected against excessive power dissipation by thermal-shutdown circuitry that places the driver outputs into a high impedance state. The receiver input has a fail-safe feature that provides a logic-high output if the input is open circuit.
