12V, 150mA non-isolated buck converter evaluation board using VIPer™ Plus VIPER06XS off-line high voltage converter. The features of the device include an 800V avalanche rugged power section, PWM operation at 30KHz with frequency jittering for lower EMI, current limiting with adjustable set point, on-board soft-start, a safe auto-restart after a fault condition and low standby power consumption. Available protection features include thermal shutdown with hysteresis, delayed overload protection and open loop failure protection. All protection is auto-restart mode.

• Universal input mains range (input voltage: 90VAC - 264VAC, frequency: 45Hz - 65Hz)
• Single-output voltage of 12V at 0.15A continuous operation
• Standby mains consumption of <lt/> 50mW at 265VAC
• Average efficiency of <gt/> 75%
