The MC56F8037EVM is an evaluation module for MC56F8037 digital signal controller. This module allows easier and faster development for 56F802x and 56F803x digital signal controllers. The MC56F8037 is a 56800E core based digital signal controller (DSC). It combines, on a single chip, the processing power of a DSP and the functionality of a microcontroller with a flexible set of peripherals. The MC56F8037EVM evaluation module that includes a MC56F8037 part, USB interface, user LEDs, user pushbutton switches and a daughter card connector. The daughter card connector allows signal monitoring and expandability of user features. This evaluation module is designed as a versatile development card using the MC56F8037 processor, allowing the creation of real time software and hardware products to support a new generation of applications.
