AD7622 is a 16bit, 2MSPS, charge redistribution SAR, fully differential, analogue-to-digital converter (ADC) that operates from a single 2.5V power supply. The part contains a high speed, 16bit sampling ADC, an internal conversion clock, an internal reference (and buffer), error correction circuits and both serial and parallel system interface ports. It features two very high sampling rate modes (wideband warp and warp) and a fast mode (normal) for asynchronous rate applications. The AD7622 is hardware factory calibrated and tested to ensure ac parameters, such as signal-to-noise ratio (SNR), in addition to the more traditional DC parameters of gain, offset and linearity. Typical applications include medical instruments, high speed data acquisition, digital signal processing, communications, instrumentation, spectrum analysis and ATE.
- Throughput: 2MSPS (wideband warp and warp mode) and 1.5MSPS (normal mode)
- INL: ±0.5LSB typical, ±1.5LSB maximum (±23ppm of FSR) and dynamic range: 92.5dB typical
- 16bit resolution with no missing codes
- SINAD: 91dB min at 20KHz (VREF = 2.5V) and THD: -115dB typ at 20KHz (VREF = 2.5V)
- 2.048V internal reference: typical drift ±8ppm/°C; TEMP output
- Differential input range: ±VREF (VREF up to 2.5V), no pipeline delay (SAR architecture)
- Parallel (16, or 8bit bus) and serial 5V/3.3V/2.5V interface
- SPI®/QSPI™/MICROWIRE™/DSP compatible
- Power dissipation: 70mW typical at 2MSPS with internal REF, 2μW in power-down mode
- 48 lead LQFP package, operating temperature range from -40 to 85°C
