Specyfikacja
LTC2986ILX-1#PBF is a multi-sensor high accuracy digital temperature measurement system with EEPROM. This device can also measure temperature with standard 2-, 3- or 4-wire RTDs, thermistors, and diodes. It includes excitation current sources and fault detection circuitry appropriate for each type of temperature sensor. Additional features include special modes that enable easy protection in universal multi-sensor applications, custom tables for generic ADC readings, and direct temperature readout from active analogue temperature sensors. It is used in applications such as direct thermocouple measurements, direct RTD measurements, direct thermistor measurements, custom sensor applications.
- Single supply voltage range from 2.85V to 5.25V, buffered inputs allow external protection
- 10 flexible inputs allow interchanging sensors, includes special protection modes
- Automatic thermocouple cold junction compensation
- Built-in standard and user-programmable coefficients for thermocouples, RTDs and thermistors
- Measures negative thermocouple voltages, automatic burn out, short-circuit and fault detection
- Supply current is 15mA typical at (TA = 25°C), resolution (no missing codes) is 24bits min
- Integral nonlinearity is 2ppm of VREF typical at (VIN(CM) = 1.25V, TA = 25°C)
- Offset error is 0.5µV typ at (TA = 25°C), offset error drift is 10nV/°C typ
- On-chip EEPROM stores channel configuration data and custom coefficients
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C, 48-lead LQFP package
