MAX26406AFOAY+T is a tiny, low-EMI emission, synchronous Silent Switcher® buck converter with integrated high-side and low-side switches. The IC is designed to deliver up to 6A with a wide input voltage range from 3V to 36V. Voltage quality can be monitored by observing the PGOOD signal. It can operate in dropout by running at 99% duty cycle, which makes it ideal for automotive and industrial applications. It is also optimized for dual-phase operation with very high-current sharing accuracy. This device can be ordered with spread-spectrum frequency modulation designed to minimize EMI-radiated emissions due to the modulation frequency. It features MAXQ® power architecture, which provides precision transient performance and phase margin. This allows us to obtain maximum power, performance, and precision while minimizing system cost for any specific application. Applications include point-of-load power supplies, 12V/24V industrial applications, telecom, servers, and networking equipment.
