MAX6884ETP+

The MAX6884ETP+ is an EEPROM programmable, hex power supply supervisory circuit in 20 pin TQFN package. This multivoltage supervisor monitors six voltage detector inputs, one auxiliary input and one watchdog input. It has three programmable outputs for highly configurable power supply monitoring applications. Each voltage detector input offers programmable primary undervoltage and secondary undervoltage/overvoltage threshold. Programmable output options include open-drain or weak pull-up. An internal 10bit, 1% accurate ADC converts voltages at IN1–IN6, AUXIN and VCC through multiplexer that automatically sequences through all inputs every 200ms. A SMBus/I2C compatible serial data interface programs and communicates with configuration EEPROM, configuration registers, EEPROM and reads ADC registers and fault registers. It is used in telecommunications/central office systems, networking systems, servers/workstations, base stations, storage equipment & multimicroprocessor/voltage systems.

• Timing delays from 25μs to 1600ms and threshold range from 1V to 5.8V (VIN1–VIN6 (20mV increments))
• Programmable thresholds from 0.5V to 3.05V (in 10mV increments) or 1V to 5.8V (in 20mV increments)
• One configurable watchdog timer from 6.25ms to 102.4s
• Internal 512bit user EEPROM with 100000 erase/write cycles endurance and 10 years of data retention
• Margining disable and manual reset controls for additional flexibility
• Internal 1.25V reference or external reference input
• Supply current of 0.9mA (VIN1 = 5.8V, IN2–IN6 = GND, no load)
