TLE49611MXTMA1 is a high-precision automotive hall effect latch. It is designed specifically for highly accurate applications with superior supply voltage capability, operating temperature range and temperature stability of the magnetic thresholds. Target applications for the TLE496x hall switch family are all applications that require a high-precision hall switch with an operating temperature range from -40°C to 170°C. Its superior supply voltage range from 3.0V to 32V with overvoltage capability (e.g. load-dump) up to 42V without an external resistor makes it ideally suited for automotive and industrial applications. The magnetic behaviour as a latch and switching thresholds of typical ±2mT make the device especially suited for the use of a pole wheel for index counting applications e.g. power closing and window lifter.

- Operation from unregulated power supply, reverse polarity protection (-18V)
- Overvoltage capability up to 42V without external resistor
- Output overcurrent and overtemperature protection, active error compensation
- High stability of magnetic thresholds, low jitter (typ. 0.35μs)
- High ESD performance, open drain output interface, bipolar hall effect latch
- 1.6mA supply current (TA = 25°C) typ, low BOP: 2mT, BRP: -2mT sensitivity
- Reverse current is 0.05mA typ (for VDD = -18V, TA = 25°C)
- Output current limitation range from 30 to 70mA (internally limited and thermal shutdown, TA = 25°C)
- PG-SOT23-3-15 package, junction temperature range from -40 to 170°C
