Specyfikacja
L2G2ISTR is a L2G2IS MEMS motion sensor. It is an ultra-compact two-axis gyroscope for optical image stabilization. It includes a sensing element and an IC interface capable of providing the measured angular rate to the application through an SPI digital interface. The unique sensing element is manufactured using a dedicated micromachining process developed by STMicroelectronics to produce inertial sensors and actuators on silicon wafers. The IC interface is manufactured using a CMOS process that allows a high level of integration to design a dedicated circuit which is trimmed to better match the characteristics of the sensing element. Application includes optical image stabilization.

- Wide supply voltage range from 1.71V to 3.6V
- 3- and 4-wire SPI digital interface, embedded temperature sensor
- Embedded self-test, integrated low- and high-pass filters with user selectable bandwidth
- Measurement range is ±100dps (typ, Vdd = 2.4V and T = 25°C)
- Rate noise density is 0.006dps/(√Hz) (typ, Vdd = 2.4V and T = 25°C)
- Power-down and sleep modes for smart power saving
- Supply current in normal mode is 3.8mA (typ, at Vdd = 2.4V, T = 25°C)
- I/O pad driving current capability is 4mA (typ, at Vdd = 2.4V, T = 25°C)
- LGA-16 package, temperature range from -40 to +85°C
