ALU HI-TEMP, 400ML

ALU Hi-Temp is a high-temperature stable aluminium coating. Based on silicone resins and active aluminium pigments, Alu H.T. is designed to build a hard, lasting finish that will not burn, chip or peel off at high temperatures (resists temperatures up to 600°C - continuous). It offers excellent coverage and high durability, and it’s quick drying at room temperature. Good weather stability. Although some loss of gloss can be noticed after extended exposure. Non-chlorinated and no aromatic solvents. Dimethylether (DME) propellant for controlled application and optimum film properties. Suitable for use at stove pipes, stoves, heaters, Kilns, incinerators, chimneys, Exhaust manifolds, headers, engines, ovens and steam pipes.

• Resin type is silicone and pigment type is non-leafing aluminium
• Specific gravity at 20°C is 0.99
• Flash point (solvents) is -4°C
• Coverage (30μm, dry) is approx. 2.7m²/can (400ml)
• Drying times to touch is 15min t 20°C (45% RH) and drying times to “hard” is 24h at 20°C (45% RH)
• To complete cure is 1h at 200°C
• Recommended film thickness is 25-30μm and thinner/cleaner is M.E.K., Acetates

Uwagi

Stored at normal ambient temperatures and has a shelf life of not less than 4 years with correct storage. Aerosols should always be stored below 50°C, away from direct heat and flame.
