The MAX6711REXS+T is a microprocessor reset circuit with manual reset input in 4 pin SC-70 package. This microprocessor (µP) supervisory circuit is used to monitor the power supplies in µP and digital systems. It provide excellent circuit reliability and low cost by eliminating external components and adjustments when used with +5V, +3.3V, +3V, or +2.5V powered circuits. It also provides a debounced manual reset input. This IC assert a reset signal whenever the VCC supply voltage declines below a preset threshold or whenever manual reset is asserted. Reset remains asserted for at least 140ms after VCC has risen above the reset threshold or when manual reset is deasserted. Reset thresholds suitable for operation with a variety of supply voltages are available. It is widely used in computers, controllers, critical µP and µC power monitoring, portable/battery powered equipments and intelligent instruments.
- Supply voltage range from 1.2V to 5.5V at TA = -40°C to +105°C, 1V to 5.5V at TA = 0°C to +70°C
- Operating temperature range from -40°C to 125°C
- Fully specified over temperature, reset valid to VCC = +1V
- Push-pull active-low reset output
- Supply current is 12µA, reset active timeout period is 240ms at TA = -40°C to +85°C
- Reset threshold voltage is 2.63V at TA = +25°C (VCC = +3V)
- 0.3V RESET output voltage low, 8V x VCC RESET output voltage high
- Power supply transient immunity
- No external components required
- Reset threshold tempco is 30ppm/°C, VCC to reset delay is 20µs
